Peter Renfro, a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, provides the hands-on personal touch that separates Carolina Packaging from other shipping stores.
Since 1992 Peter has honed his expertise in packaging and shipping. Like a great chef, he personally hand-picks his inventory of boxes and packaging for quality and reliability. Conscious of the environment, he also makes use of recycled packaging material whenever possible.
Long-time customers have come to trust Peter’s advice when it comes to shipping and packaging options. His built-in sense of economy means he only sells the premium services when they are absolutely necessary (a particularly popular trait during the Christmas season!).
Peter has forged Carolina Packaging into one of the last bastions of independence in a world that is becoming increasingly homogenized by the likes of Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Kinko’s and McDonald’s. It is one of the few places left in Chapel Hill where the small-town community atmosphere of yesteryear remains vibrant and strong.
