This smooth polyester strapping is a direct comparable to Signode® 1818, measuring 1/2" wide by 9,000 feet long and wound on a standard 16x6" core. The green color aids quick identification during packing and receiving, and the smooth surface works with serrated or sandpaper crimp seals and standard polyester strapping tools.
Polyester construction maintains strap tension longer than polypropylene and resists elongation under sustained load, making it well suited for heavy or dense unitized loads in warehousing, manufacturing, lumber yards, and freight staging environments. UV resistance extends its use to outdoor storage and exposed loading dock areas.
At 53.42 lbs per coil, this strapping is approximately 80% lighter than equivalent steel strapping, reducing handling fatigue and eliminating the sharp-edge hazard associated with metal strap.
