3M™ 4466 is a general-grade double sided foam tape built on a 1/16" closed cell polyethylene foam carrier with rubber-based adhesive bonded to both sides. The flexible foam conforms to uneven and irregular surfaces, allowing it to bridge minor gaps and maintain consistent contact across imperfect substrates.

This tape is well suited for mounting, joining, sealing, and bonding tasks in manufacturing, assembly, retail display fabrication, and light industrial environments. It adheres reliably to polyethylene, polypropylene, and many other plastics — substrates that challenge many conventional adhesives.

The rubber adhesive performs best within a temperature range of 70°F to 100°F, making it appropriate for controlled indoor settings. The foam construction also helps distribute bond-line stress and dampen vibration in assembled components. Each case contains 9 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
