3M™ 465 Adhesive Transfer Tape is a 2 mil, solvent-free acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive carried on a densified kraft paper liner. The adhesive transfers directly to the substrate upon application, leaving no carrier film behind. The medium-firm acrylic formulation delivers fast initial tack combined with reliable shear holding power across paper, film, foil, and lightweight rigid materials.
The clear adhesive remains virtually invisible after liner removal, making it well suited for mounting, laminating, splicing, and precision assembly work. It performs consistently in manufacturing, print finishing, graphic arts, and light industrial environments where a clean, film-free bond is required.
Application performance is optimized in the 70°F to 100°F temperature range. Each roll has a 3-inch core, compatible with standard hand-held transfer tape dispensers. Sold by the case of 12 rolls.
