3M™ 4920 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 15 mil, double-coated white acrylic foam tape measuring 1 inch wide by 5 yards long. The firm acrylic foam core is coated on both sides with a high-strength acrylic adhesive, delivering a permanent bond strong enough to replace mechanical fasteners such as rivets, screws, bolts, and spot welds in structural and assembly applications.
Its resistance to moisture, solvents, and UV exposure — combined with a rated operating temperature range of -40°F to 200°F and UL746C listing — make it well suited for both interior and exterior bonding. Common applications include metal panel assembly, architectural sign fabrication, trim attachment, and surface bonding on mixed substrates across industrial, commercial, and construction environments.
Each roll is supplied with a kraft paper liner and is sold individually. Multiple rolls can be ordered to meet larger project or facility requirements, and the product ships via parcel carrier.
