3M™ 4955 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is an 80 mil double-coated acrylic foam tape engineered for structural bonding that replaces mechanical fasteners — including rivets, screws, spot-welds, and liquid adhesives — in demanding assemblies. The white acrylic foam core delivers firm, conformable construction with high-strength acrylic adhesive on both faces and a protective polyester liner for handling and storage.

This tape performs reliably in industrial manufacturing, vehicle body component assembly, architectural cladding, electronic enclosure fabrication, and commercial sign installation. Its resistance to moisture, solvents, and UV exposure makes it equally effective in interior and exterior environments, while UL746C certification supports use in regulated and electronic assemblies.
