3M™ 8915 is a 6 mil filament strapping tape built with a clear polypropylene backing reinforced with fiberglass yarn filaments and bonded with a synthetic rubber adhesive. The filament construction delivers low-stretch, high-tension hold that resists loosening under sustained load — a defining advantage over unreinforced strapping options.
This tape is well suited to bundling, palletizing, and in-transit securing across warehousing, manufacturing, and distribution environments. The translucent backing keeps barcodes, printed labels, and graphics visible through the tape without obstruction, making it a practical choice for high-throughput fulfillment and inventory operations where label readability matters.
Each roll measures 3/4 inch wide by 60 yards and is compatible with standard filament tape dispensers for efficient line application. The synthetic rubber adhesive is formulated to resist residue transfer and will not stain most surfaces. Cases contain 48 rolls and ship via parcel carrier.
