3M™ 8915 Strapping Tape is a 6 mil clear polypropylene strapping tape reinforced with glass yarn filaments and bonded with a synthetic rubber adhesive. The translucent backing is a defining feature — barcodes, printed labels, and graphics remain readable through the tape without removal or repositioning.
This tape is well suited to warehousing, fulfillment, distribution, appliance shipping, and retail logistics operations where label visibility and consistent bundle integrity must be maintained through multiple handling stages. The low-stretch construction holds tension without loosening, making it reliable for bundling, unitizing, and reinforcing cartons in both light manufacturing and high-throughput freight environments.
Each case contains 12 rolls at 3/4 inch wide by 60 yards per roll. The 3/4 inch width is compatible with standard filament tape dispensers. The product ships via parcel carrier.
