The 3M™ 969 Adhesive Transfer Tape delivers a 5-mil high-tack acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive on a densified kraft paper liner, reverse-wound on a 1" core for compatibility with standard adhesive transfer tape dispensers. High initial tack and solid shear holding power distinguish this adhesive system from general-purpose transfer tapes.
This tape bonds paper, plastics, metal, foam, and difficult-to-adhere surfaces, making it well-suited for assembly, fabrication, laminating, and mounting tasks in manufacturing, electronics, signage, and industrial production environments. Its ability to grip challenging substrates — including most plastics — expands its utility beyond standard bonding applications.
Optimal application performance occurs between 70°F and 100°F. Each roll measures 1/2" wide by 18 yards long, and cases contain 72 rolls, supporting consistent per-unit cost for high-volume purchasing. Ships via parcel carrier.
