3M™ 987 Adhesive Transfer Tape delivers a 1.7 mil medium-firm acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive on a tan paper liner, reverse-wound on a 1" core for compatibility with standard 1" core dispensers. The carrier-free format transfers a thin, consistent adhesive layer that bonds without adding bulk to the bond line.

The acrylic adhesive system combines strong initial tack with reliable shear holding power, making it well suited for bonding papers, foils, films, and flexible foam materials in manufacturing, assembly, and converting environments. It supports both finger-touch application and dispenser-assisted workflows where precise, clean adhesive placement is required.

Each roll measures 3/4" wide by 36 yards long, and cases contain 48 rolls. The 1" core construction is compatible with high-volume dispenser setups for continuous-use production lines.
