This complete hazardous material shipper kit is engineered for the safe transport of one 1-gallon round plastic jug. Each kit includes a pre-assembled corrugated outer carton, a round plastic jug with cap, and a Hexacomb® cushioning insert that immobilizes the container and absorbs impact during transit. The kit ships as a single unit, ready to pack.
The UN/USA D.O.T.-approved configuration is accepted by both air and ground carriers, making it appropriate for regulated shipments across chemical distribution, agricultural supply, industrial cleaning products, and laboratory reagent fulfillment operations. Mandatory hazmat warning information is pre-printed directly on the carton, reducing labeling steps at the point of pack.
The outer carton is constructed from 275# kraft corrugated — a heavier board spec than standard — to meet the structural requirements of regulated hazardous material packaging. Per CFR 49 178.601B, the shipper is responsible for selecting the correct packaging for the specific hazardous product and for proper final closure. Sold individually.
