Scotch® 8959 Bi-Directional Filament Tape features a 5.7 mil clear polypropylene backing reinforced with glass yarn filaments running in both the length and cross-direction — delivering high tensile strength that resists tearing and splitting under stress loads that would compromise standard filament tapes.
The cross-directional reinforcement makes this tape well suited for bundling irregular loads, unitizing multi-piece shipments, reinforcing cartons, and securing pallet loads in warehousing, manufacturing, and distribution environments where single-direction filament tape is not sufficient.
The synthetic rubber adhesive provides high initial tack and long-term holding power. The polypropylene backing resists abrasion, moisture, and scuffing, and its clear finish keeps labels and markings visible through the tape. Each case contains 36 rolls and ships via parcel.
