Scotch® Filament Tape 890MSR is a heavy-duty strapping tape built on an 8 mil polyester backing reinforced with glass yarn filaments and bonded with a natural rubber adhesive. The natural rubber formulation delivers strong adhesion to oily metal and other contaminated surfaces where standard adhesives lose grip, making this tape a dependable choice where surface conditions cannot be controlled.

This tape is used for heavy bundling, unitizing, pallet reinforcement, and carton strapping in manufacturing plants, metal fabrication facilities, automotive parts distribution, and high-volume fulfillment centers. The glass yarn filaments resist splitting under tensile load, and the polyester backing holds up against moisture, abrasion, and scuff through transit and warehouse handling cycles.

Each roll measures 2 inches wide by 60 yards long, reducing roll changes during continuous operations. The tape ships via parcel carrier and is sold by the case containing 24 rolls.
