Scotch® Filament Tape 893 is a 6.0 mil biaxially oriented polypropylene film reinforced with continuous fiberglass yarn and bonded with a synthetic rubber adhesive. The fiberglass filaments deliver high tensile strength with minimal stretch, allowing fewer wraps per application and reducing tape consumption in high-volume operations.
This tape is suited for bundling, strapping, and unitizing loads in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, and fulfillment environments. The low-stretch construction keeps loads tight during transit, and the film backing resists moisture, abrasion, and scuffing — maintaining bond integrity through variable handling conditions. Compatible with standard filament tape dispensers for efficient application.
Each roll measures 3/4 inch wide by 60 yards and is constructed to 6.0 mil total thickness. Cases contain 48 rolls and ship via parcel carrier.
