Scotch® Filament Tape 897 is a 6.0 mil clear strapping tape reinforced with fiberglass filaments for high tensile strength in bundling, palletizing, and carton reinforcement applications. The narrow 1/2-inch width makes it particularly well-suited for precision passes where a full-width strapping tape would be excessive or unwieldy.

This tape performs reliably in warehousing, manufacturing, and distribution environments where loads must be unitized or secured through handling and transit. The narrow profile handles light-duty palletizing, cable and component bundling, and reinforcing seams on smaller cartons without adding unnecessary bulk.

The synthetic rubber adhesive bonds firmly to corrugated, metal, plastic, and most common packaging substrates, while the polypropylene backing resists moisture, abrasion, and scuffing throughout the supply chain. Each case contains 12 rolls and ships via parcel carrier. Compatible with standard filament tape dispensers, sold separately.
