3M Scotch® Vinyl Color Coding Electrical Tape 35 in yellow is a 7-mil PVC-backed, pressure-sensitive tape engineered for phase identification, circuit marking, wire lead coding, and piping system labeling. Its rubber-resin adhesive bonds firmly to wire insulation, conduit, and piping surfaces, conforming reliably to irregular profiles without lifting or flagging.
This tape is a standard choice for electrical contractors, facilities maintenance teams, MRO supply programs, and utility operations that rely on consistent color-coding to distinguish circuits and phases. It suits both indoor panel work and outdoor conduit applications where environmental exposure is a factor.
The 7-mil PVC construction is flame retardant and resists UV exposure, moisture, abrasion, alkalis, solvents, and many acids. The tape insulates and splices wires rated up to 600V and performs across a temperature range of 32°F to 221°F. Each case contains 100 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
