Description

These 1" x 1" chip-cut sheets are made from 30 lb. basis weight paper chemically treated to continuously emit volatile corrosion inhibitors (VCI). As the paper off-gasses, it forms a protective molecular layer on ferrous metal surfaces that blocks the electrochemical reactions responsible for rust, oxidation, and corrosion — without direct contact between the paper and the part.

The chip format is especially practical for hardware distributors, metal fabricators, automotive parts suppliers, and contract manufacturers packing loose fasteners, stampings, castings, and small machined components. Chips can be poured directly into poly bags, layered between parts in trays, or used as void fill inside corrugated shippers. Industry guidance recommends one square foot of VCI paper per one cubic foot of enclosed packaging space; complete enclosure within a sealed container maximizes inhibitor concentration and extends protection duration.

Each case contains 25,000 sheets. Ships via parcel carrier.
